Uplift Milford provides local families with short-term support to prevent long-term hardship.
We provide financial support to help stabilize families facing crisis, financial difficulty or other challenges meeting their basic needs. Our proactive approach ensures that immediate needs are met, reducing stress and preventing further hardship. Through this support, we foster resilience, strengthen our community, and give families the opportunity to regain stability and thrive.

Introducing the Harbor Shed @ Harbor High School
The Harbor Shed is the newest addition to Uplift Milford’s efforts to support students across the district. Just like our original Mav Shed at Milford High School, this dedicated space is stocked with essentials such as toiletries, clothing, snacks, and school supplies—all available to students who may find themselves in need.
Whether it’s a forgotten item, an unexpected circumstance, or ongoing family challenges, the Harbor Shed ensures that no student has to go without the basics that help them feel prepared and confident at school. Operated by Uplift Milford and sustained through generous community donations, the Harbor Shed represents the spirit of care and connection that defines our district.
By providing these resources without stigma, the Harbor Shed removes barriers, nurtures well-being, and fosters a school environment where every student can thrive.
Ghoulapalooza: A Night of Music, Brews, and Community Support
Join us for Ghoulapalooza, a fantastical fall celebration bringing together live music, local craft beer, and a whole lot of spooky fun — all in support of Uplift Milford.
Hosted at The Warehouse at Rivers Edge on Saturday, October 18th, Ghoulapalooza features:
Live performances by Coffin Jockeys, Funderbird, and hU
Costume contest & fun door prizes
Seasonal craft brews from Rivers Edge Brewing Co.
Doors open at 6:30 PM | First band begins at 7:00 PM
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
Your ticket doesn’t just get you into one of the most exciting Halloween events of the year — it also helps Uplift Milford continue its mission of supporting and empowering our local community.
